The Statute

The Veneranda Arca, an institution still active and operating today, is regulated by the statute approved by the royal decree of March 11th, 1935, and by the 1932 regulation, which establishes its duties. The presidency office is currently made up of 7 members, 5 of which are laypersons, who are appointed by the Municipality of Padua, plus 2 ecclesiastical representatives: the rector of the basilica, member by right, and a pontifical delegate appointed by the Secretariat of State of the Holy See.
